WOW! It sure didn't look like that when I was there last week.The tram ride took us through those same tunnels!! It did rain the day I was there,
wasn't sure we were going to get the tram tour of the track in but it stopped raining in time for us to do it. My folks told me about the flooding,
it's real bad in the towns around the track. The side roads have been blockaded off by local police to keep people from driving on the roads. The locals
have been moving the blockades and driving anyway which just pushes the water into peoples homes. Very inconsiderate IMO. I heard the track will be ok in time
for the July race. My thoughts and prayers are with those affected by the flooding.

I heard the guys on speed talking about this yesterday & I went & looked at them last night. It's crazy they actually think the speedway is holding the water instead of letting it go . I feel bad for all the towns around there floods suck cause their is no where water can't get to!!!!! Baby blue was the color of his eyes....

I saw online that they got 20-27 inches of rain and this morning MSNBC was saying the same. According to track officals, there hasn't been any damage done
to the racing surface. But how do they know? The racing surface is under water !!! Daytonna needs to be repaved, but I don't think this is a way to prove
that !!! Officals said that the race in July should not be affected. Again, HOW DO THEY KNOW THAT FOR SURE the track is under water. Several years ago, Atlanta
Motor Speedway has a tornado start INSIDE the speedway. They were able to get the facility fixed and was ready for the next race, but they had 6 months to do
the repairs, not 1 month.

wow that is crazy!! i heard about it but to see it is another thing! i my thoughts and prayers are with those effected! i sure hope that they can fix any

I figured out how they can get the water off the race track. It may take a few hundred of these things but it may work.

Gosh, I have tickets to that race and I am really bummed about this whole flooding thing. First and foremost, I am so sorry for the homes and businesses that
may have been lost. That is so sad. However, how can they be sure at this point that the racetrack was not affected. This is a big vacation for my family and
me and we have been marking off the days on the calendar since we ordered the tickets in February.
